Infrared spectrum of isotopic carbon dioxide in the region of bending fundamental ν2
1985
Abstract Infrared absorption spectra of 13 C 16 O 2 , 13 C 18 O 2 , 16 O 13 C 17 O, 16 O 13 C 18 O, and 16 O 12 C 18 O have been measured in the wavenumber region 570–780 cm −1 with a spectral resolution of about 0.005 cm −1 . The data were recorded at room temperature with a Fourier transform spectrometer using a 13 C-enriched sample of carbon dioxide. The fundamentals ν 2 and several “hot” bands have been identified and effective molecular constants have been derived.
