Michael J. Goldstein’s Impact on the Field

When Michael J. Goldstein died on March 13, 1997, the scientific community and in particular Clinical Psychology lost an outstanding teacher, creative therapist, internationally renowned scholar and a wise, humorous and caring friend. Michael Goldstein is survived by his wife Vida, his two daughters, Janet and Ellen, his son Peter, and four grandchildren Fiona, Natalia, Robert and Jacob. He also leaves an important legacy in the lives of his doctoral students in the US and Europe and of his research fellows.
