Optical pulse compression radar at double repetition rate with both positive and negative beat frequencies

A new method to improve the repetition rate of optical pulse compression radar is proposed. This technology can double the system repetition rate by using both the positive and negative beat frequencies of the received signal, without deteriorating spatial resolution. This method can also be implemented in the microwave radars.
