The invention discloses a steel structure module characteristic information extracting and assembling method based on a Tekla platform. The method includes the following steps that a characteristic information extracting platform is built through a C# function and a Tekla Structures development function based on the Tekla Structures software; a structure information database of steel structures and a raw material information database adopted by machining parts of the steel structures are built; the three-dimensional model of one steel structure is led into the software, all the structure bodies of the steel structures are numbered, and then the structure character information of all the structure bodies of the steel structures is extracted and uploaded to the structure information database; the basic attribute features of the steel structures are extracted and uploaded to the raw material information database; finished parts are machined and produced according to the raw material information; then the finished parts are numbered; the finished parts are assembled. By the adoption of the method, characteristic information collection can be conducted efficiently and accurately.
