Peritoneal carcinomatosis from ovarian cancer: cytoreductive surgery and intraperitoneal chemotherapy

Currently the surgical treatment for peritoneal carcinomatosis of epithelial ovarian cancer is radically modifying. In many surgical and oncological centers the experimentation with new and effective antineoplastic drugs has obtained good results with both endoperitoneal perfuson or i.v. administration. We present our experience regarding 9 patients affected by epithelial ovarian carcinoma and treated with such method.
