Qualifications:  Valid NYS SDA/SDL certification.  Minimum of 3 years administrative experience related to the performance responsibilities for the position strongly preferred.  Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary level.  Ability to achieve and maintain standards of excellence in the teaching of mathematics through known research-based best practices in teaching mathematics as aligned to the Common Core Standards.  Ability to provide leadership in the coordination of the mathematics curriculum and instructional programs K-12.  Strong knowledge of Common Core mathematics standards.  Knowledge of the teacher evaluation and performance processes.  Demonstrated evidence of effective professional development skills and offerings.  Must be technologically adept.
