Effect of Herbo-Mineral Supplementation on Conception Rate and Fertility in Repeat Breeder Crossbred cows

The study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of herbo-mineral supplementation for fourteen days from day of insemination on conception rate in repeat breeder crossbred cows. The results revealed higher percentage of conceived cows (64.00 percent, 16/25 vs 37.50 percent, 3/8) with marked lesser requirement of services per conception (3.31 vs 7.33) in treated than non treated cows. The supplementing herbo-mineral bolus resulted in beneficial effect on fertility in terms of overall conception rate (30.18 vs 13.63 percent) in repeat breeder crossbred cows.
