Subnanosecond time resolved measurements of synchrotron X-ray pulses using photoconductive detectors
1986
Abstract We have employed fast photoconductive detector (InP:Fe) and a sampling oscilloscope to time resolve the X-ray emission from the SPEAR storage ring. The detector and recording system had a response time (fwhm) of less than 200 ps. For photon energies between 1000 and 3000 eV we observed a Gaussian shaped pulse with a fwhm of 560 ps.
