Metallic lithium and its compounds have bright prospects in the fields of energy sources and new materials.In the new century,it will be a new approach to recover lithium from salt lake brines for the industry of lithium salts.In the paper,the processes and techniques for lithium recovery from salt lake brines were synthetically analyzed,and the developmental trend for lithium separation from salt lake brines was also pointed out.
