Post Op Imaging of the Shoulder: Stabilization Surgery
2020
Stabilization procedures are among the most commonly performed surgical interventions of the shoulder joint. Various soft tissue and bone reconstruction techniques are available, and the indication will depend on the clinical and imaging findings. In contrast to former years, most of these techniques can nowadays be undertaken arthroscopically. This chapter reviews common surgical procedures performed to treat the unstable shoulder and long head of biceps tendon and describes the significance of imaging with a view to normal postoperative findings, recurrent lesions and typical complications.
