Although rare, adrenal disorders need to be included in the differential diagnosis of many relatively common paediatric problems principally growth disorders, obesity, ambiguous genitalia, and precocious puberty. Their diagnosis requires a careful clinical assessment combined with the use of appropriate endocrine and radiological investigations.
