Фармакоэкономические аспекты оказания помощи больным с хронической алкогольной интоксикацией

The paper presents the results of pharmacoeconomic analysis of the costs of medical care and medication for patients with pyogenic inflammations of connective tissue and background chronic alcohol intoxication. For this purpose the authors have analyzed 100 case histories. All the cases were divided into four clinical statistical groups. The first two groups consisted of the patients with infected wounds and phlegmons of connective tissue, and the course of surgical disorder was complicated by chronic alcohol intoxication; the third and the fourth groups were used for comparison. Patients in these groups did not suffer from alcohol abuse. Results of the analysis show that in the groups of patients with surgical diagnosis and chronic alcohol intoxication total average costs of in-patient treatment were almost twice higher than similar costs in control groups.
