A Collaborative Location Querying Method Based on Caching Information

Location based services has brought great convenience to human life. The service providers have gathered a lot of location information, which contains users' privacy information. Considering the location privacy-preserving methods which are central server-based, users need to communicate with the central server frequently, making the risk of privacy leaking increased. Aiming at this point, a collaborative query method is proposed. This method is based on user historical cache information, and the collaboration process is carried out through neighbor broadcasting. The execution process of query service is efficient, and frequent communication with untrusted server during location query is avoided. Then, the risk of privacy leakage caused by untrusted servers is reduced in a great extent. The experimental results show that the method has high query efficiency.
