PENERAPAN MODEL DIRECT INSTRUCTION DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 BANGKALAN PADA MATERI POKOK AZAS BLACK

Penelitian Penerapan Model Direct Instruction dengan Menggunakan Keterampilan Proses Sains untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bangkalan Pada Materi Azas Black, dan hasil observasi menunjukkan angka 77,8% siswa sulit memahami dan mengingat materi dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quantitative Experimental dengan desain Pretest Posttest Control Group design yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, hasil belajar dan respon siswa melalui penerapan model Direct Instruction dengan menggunakan keterampilan proses sains pada materi pokok azas Black. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas X sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X-5 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang ditentukan secara random sampling. Penelitian dimulai dengan memberikan pretest pada sampel penelitian, selanjutnya dilakukan kegiatan pembelajaran. Pada akhir kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan posttest untuk mengetahui hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Dari nilai uji-t dua pihak dan uji-t satu pihak diperoleh hasil thitung sebesar t = 5,13 sedangkan nilai ttabel untuk uji-t dua pihak adalah 2,00 dan nilai ttabel untuk uji-t satu pihak adalah 1,67. Dari perbandingan nilai tersebut diperoleh bahwa thitung > ttabel dan dapat dinyatakan bahwa rata-rata hasil posttest kelompok eksperimen lebih baik daripada rata-rata hasil posttest kelompok kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Direct Instruction dengan menggunakan keterampilan proses sains pada materi pokok azas Black diperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih baik.Kata kunci : Keterampilan Proses Sains, Model Pembelajaran Direct Instruction, Hasil Belajar Siswa dan Azas Black.AbstractResearch the implementation of learning model direct instruction using science process skills to improve the results the learning student’s outcomes in class X sman 1 Bangkalan on the principle of black material and observations showed the 77.5% of students difficult to understanding and remember the material in the long term. This research is a quasi-experiment research with pretest and posttest design with a control group and this research aims to determine the feasibility study and the results of learning and science process skills in the subject matter of this study the principle of black. Population in this research used class X, when the sample in this class is a class X-5 as the control class and class X-2 as a classroom experiment that determined random sampling. research began by giving a pretest in the study sample, then performed the learning activities. And the end of the learning activities carried out to determine the activity posttest on cognitive learning outcomes of students. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using t-test. Of the value of the t-test two parties and one party t-test results obtained values of 3.33 t-test table for both sides is 2.00 and the value of the t test is 1.67. From the comparison of the values obtained that t> t table and it can be stated that the results mean posttest experimental group is better than the average results posttest control group. It can be concluded that the application of the direct instruction using science process skills in the subject matter to learn the principles of black obtained better results.Keywords: Science process skills, Direct Instruction, learning results, and azas Black
