Research on attenuation law of the corrosion related electric field based on the boundary element method

The attenuation law of corrosion related electric field is studied based on the boundary element method.The result shows that the attenuation rate of the electric field transverse component and perpendicular component is larger than longitudinal component.Along with the increase of abeam distance,the attenuation rate of the longitudinal component and perpendicular component is reduced,but for the transverse component,the attenuation rate is increasing first,then reduced gradually.When the depth is increased,the attenuation rate of each component of electric field is reduced.
