The substrate is impregnated with an aqueous hand cleanser formulation that includes (a) 1 to 10% by weight of a fatty acid ester or mixture of such esters; (b) 1 to 10% by weight of at least one emulsifying surfactant; and (c) from 75 to 99% by weight of water.
