The Effect of Heated Ethanol Concentrate Feed on the Fatty Liver and Kidney Syndrome and the Influence of Climate on the Susceptibility of Chicks to the Disease

SUMMARY The protective effect of ethanol concentrate feed was destroyed by heating between 91°C and 111°C. Chicks from eggs laid on a hot day were more susceptible to the fatty liver and kidney syndrome than chicks from eggs laid on a cool day.
