Development of Conductive Photopolymer Resin Bond Dicing Blade

2009
Recently the application of diamond dicing blade bonded with photopolymer resin has been developed. Having electrical conductivity is necessary for most of blades used in dicing saw. The electrical conductivity of photopolymer resin bond dicing blade is studied. The theoretic research is studied with the investigation and analysis of other’s achievements for electrical conductivity in polymer or resin, and the experiments are done to verify the validity of the measures for making conductive photopolymer resin bond dicing blade. The copper coated diamond added with appropriate amount of copper powder is introduced to fulfill the electrical conductivity of the dicing blade. The experimental results are perfect, which demonstrates the theoretic research and experimental measures are of high reliability.
