The use of physiology-driven high fidelity patient simulation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.

2010
Objective:To study and evaluate the result that physiology-driven high fidelity Human Patient Simulator was used training of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Methods:The basic first aid knowledge was tested in 126 new admissions to the medical staff, then the drive high operating simulators and physical simulation were used,Brief theory of instruction,Sub-Technical exercises, comprehensive simulation exercises and analysis of video playback were applied. The training effects were analyzed, concluding feedback.Result:The theoretical results of Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was 45.81±5.23 pre-training,the passing rate of skills results was only 11.36%.The average score of theoretical results was 92.85 ± 6.25 after training, the passing rate of skills results was 100.0%(P0.01);95.2% considered it necessary to strengthen the first-aid training;98.4% considered it is valuable and very helpful on dealing with any emergency explode events and treating the critical patients. Conclusion:The physiology-driven high fidelity patient simulation training plays a very important role in renovation or increasing emergency medical knowledge and competence of practical stringency care,It is do necessary to have retraining of rescue knowledge and skills for all doctors and nurses in the hospital.
