PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of organic nanoparticles; to provide a method for efficiently manufacturing in a dispersion liquid organic nanoparticles not causing cohesion and having high dispersion stability; to provide organic nanoparticles having a nanosize and a sharp peak in the particle size distribution, and a manufacturing method thereof; to provide a coloring photosensitive resin composition and a photosensitive resin transfer material using the above organic nanoparticles; and to provide a color filter and a display device using them, having high contrast and exhibiting excellent display characteristics. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the organic nanoparticles wherein a dispersion liquid of organic nanoparticles is prepared by mixing a solution of an organic material dissolved in a good solvent and a solvent that is compatible with the above good solvent and makes a poor solvent to the above organic material and by allowing the organic material to be produced as fine particles having nanosizes, characterized in that a polymeric compound having a weight average mol.wt. of ≥1,000 is contained in the dispersion liquid.
