OUR EXPERIENCE WITH E-LEARNING METHOD OF TEACHING PRACTICAL HISTOLOGY

Five years ago, the system of practical teaching at our Department of Histology and Embryology in Olomouc underwent major innovation by using e-learning format in the delivery of high-quality histology virtual slides (VS) and subject-related supporting documents observed on a PC. We have developed our own system of application of virtual slides in a classroom equipped with PC technology. In this communication, we are evaluating the impact of this method on our pedagogic effort from a teacherʼs and studentsʼ points of view.
