Emitter wrap-through solar cell and method of preparing the same

PURPOSE: An emitter wrap through solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce a leakage current by effectively isolating a base electrode from an emitter electrode. CONSTITUTION: A first conductive semiconductor substrate includes a front surface and a rear surface. A first trench (10) and a second trench (20) are formed on the rear surface of the first conductive semiconductor substrate. The first trench is physically separated from the second trench. The first conductive semiconductor substrate includes one or more via holes (30). A second conductive emitter electrode (25) is formed in the second trench and the via holes.
