A device for quantitative sampling of benthic organisms in shallow water by means of a flushing technique

Abstract A “flushing” sampler is described for the quantitative sampling of macrobenthic fauna in shallow waters. The sampler is lowered from a small boat. The method is developed for surveying large tidal areas.
