Clinical application of laparoscopic appendectomy via umbilicus

Objective To investigate the effect of laparoscopic appendectomy via umbilicus.Methods 523 patients with appendicitis were operated with appendectomy via umbilicus.Results All the operations of 523 cases were successfully and did not accomplish any severe complications.Conclusion The method of laparoscopic appendectomy via umbilicus can be widely used,because of obvious effect and less complications.
