New techniques in fertilization: Intravaginal culture and microvolume straw

Over the last decade, the process of in vitro fertilization (IVF) has undergone a number of modifications in ovulation induction and oocyte retrieval. However, as the name of the procedure implies, the process of fertilization in vitro per se has essentially remained unchanged. This article describes two new simplified methods of fertilization called intravaginal culture (IVC) and the microvolume straw technique
