The invention relates to an exterior wall water curtain fire-extinguishing system for high-rise buildings, which comprises a fire protection water supply sub-system, a fire protection control sub-system, an indoor fire protection sub-system, an exterior wall sensing sub-system and an exterior wall water curtain sub-system, wherein two fire protection water pumps (one is used and other one is standby) and a plurality of water pump adapters are arranged at one end of the fire protection water supply sub-system, and a valve group is arranged at the other end of the fire protection water supply sub-system; the valve group is respectively connected with the exterior wall water curtain sub-system and the indoor fire protection sub-system; the fire protection control sub-system is connected with the external wall sensing sub-system and used for controlling the exterior wall water curtain sub-system and the indoor fire protection sub-system; the exterior wall sensing sub-system comprises a sensor and a signal bus, and the signal bus is connected into the fire protection control sub-system; and the exterior wall water curtain sub-system comprises a main pipe, a trunk pipe, a plurality of branch pipes, an electromagnetic control valve and a fan-shaped spray head. The water curtain fire-extinguishing system can block a channel for leading flame of the high-rise building to spread to the outside and effectively contain the development of fire.
