Trend Analysis of Historical and Cultural Heritage Protection in Urban Planology——Based on the CNKI Literature Search and Data Extraction from 2014 to 2018

Historical and cultural heritage is the treasure of five thousand years of Chinese culture. In the new era when people’s demand for a better life is growing day by day, the inheritance and protection of historical and cultural heritage has become a subject of concern. Based on the statistical extraction of journal literature data, four journals of urban and rural planning discipline founded in 2014 ～ 2018, with large circulation and authority were selected as the research objects. The characteristics of periodicals related to the protection of historical and cultural heritage were analyzed from four aspects: distribution, types, objects and hotspots. This paper summarizes the research direction, hot trends and development changes of the subject of urban and rural planning about the protection of historical and cultural heritage.
