AFLP analysis of genetic diversity within and among Guangxi main cassava cultivars.

This study utilized AFLP molecular marker analyzing DNA genetic diversity of 21 mainly cassava cultivars in Guangxi.Through the study,three pairs of AFLP selective amplified primers were selected : E-ACT/ M-CAT E-ACA/ M-CAA and E-AGG/ M-CTT.At the same time,the data was analyzed in UPGMA cluster.The result revealed that: cultivars genetic similarity is higher,and the range was from 0.661 to 0.865.The varieties were divided into two groups from genetic similarity of 0.755.GR891,GR911 and etc belonged to one group;bread cassava,Guijingyin983,Xinxuan048 and etc.belonged to other group;Nanzhi105,Nanzhi188,Tainong50,Nianhai-1 were not in a group due to obviously genetic difference and might originate from different areas.
