Collisional-Radiative Model for Low Temperature Ne Plasmas

The general trends of evaluation of Ne I and Ne II atomic data and their use in constituting a collisional-radiative model for diagnostics and modeling of low temperature Ne plasmas are briefly described. Possible use of models containing accurate atomic data in space applications is also addressed.
