Um estudo sobre os Refugiados Sírios na cidade de São Paulo e Florianópolis

Abstract: This article aims to present the theme of the presence of Syrian refugees in Brazil since 2011, the year in which the war in Syria broke out. This study is part of a research on the labor trajectories of Syrian refugees, taking into account their integration in the Brazilian social fabric in the context of an economic, political crisis and precarious work. The methodology applied in this investigation is the biographical narrative. We analyzed the role of host networks. We identified, through the narratives, cases of discrimination in the work paths of Syrian refugees.
