AKautz-Volterra Behavioral ModelforRFPowerAmplifiers

A newtypeofbehavioral poweramplifier (PA) model, adiscrete-time Kautz-Volterra (KV)model, ispresented. Inthemodelapriori knowledge ofthesystem properties interms ofdifferent poles fordifferent nonlinear orders isused, whichis neededformodeling nonlinear andlinear memoryeffects inPAs. An accurate modelcanthusbeachieved withasmall numberof parameters. Simulated results ofparallel Hammerstein and Wienerstructures andfrommodeling thebehavior ofaPAare presented.
