Energy Harvester in FM Broadcasting Band Using a Loop Antenna

Energy harvest from radio waves broadcast at around 90 MHz was tried using a loop antenna and a conventional rectifying circuit with a voltage multiplier. The diode selection for ultralow voltage input signals was considered first and then the rectified dc output was simulated for several stages of the multiplier. The configuration of a receiving loop antenna was examined and finally the total performance of the energy harvesting was shown by the measurement results of the charged energy for five minutes to three hours of receiving experiments.
