Study on Fu's Subcutaneous Needling in Treating Lumber Intervertebral Disc Herniation

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of Fu's subcutaneous needling in treating lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.Methods Eighty patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation were randomized into a treatment group and control group,40 cases in each.The treatment group was treated by Fu's subcutaneous needling,and the control was treated by ordinary acupuncture,and the clinical effects would be evaluated after 2 treatment courses.Results The total effective rate was 97.5% in the treatment group versus 85.0% in the control,and the difference was significant(P0.01).Conclusion Fu's subcutaneous needling is effective in treating lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.
