This liquid crystal display panel is provided with a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between said substrates, wherein the first substrate and the second substrate have electrodes, and the electrodes of the second substrate include a pair of comb electrodes and an electrode having a slit.
