Design of an integrated circular-polarized OAM generator/multiplexer

A circular-polarized orbital angular momentum (OAM) generator and multiplexer based on silicon on insulator is designed and simulated. This device can generate right hand and left hand circular polarized channels that can be coupled to OAM fiber without losses associated with filtering out unwanted polarization.
