Hydrocarbonylation of methanol on cobalt catalysts

1993
The hydrocarbonylation of methanol is attracting the attention of researchers as an alternative route for the preparation of ethanol and acetaldehyde from a monocarbon precursor. In this paper, the hydrocarbonylation of methanol was studied utilizing carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
