THE SELF-EFFICACY AND STRESS SYMPTOMS IN SCHOOLS

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy with symptoms of stress in school ( school stress ) on Muslim MIS students in Tabek Nagari Talang Babungo, Gumanti Kab. Solok. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study was 100 students consisting of grades 4, 5, and 6 . The research sample consisted of 80 students. The sampling technique in this study uses the proportionate stratified random method. Random stratified proportionality is the number of samples in each stratum is proportional to the number of elements of the population in level it, then measured using self-efficacy scale and the scale of stress at school. The results of the study prove that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and symptoms of anxiety in school ( school stress ) on MIS Muallimin Tabek Nagari Talang Babungo students. Hiliran Gumanti Kab. Solok. With a significant value of 0.001 (0.001 < 0.05) and the value of the coefficient of Pearson correlation of -0, 432.
