Vertebral Body Compression Fractures and Bone Density: Automated Detection and Classification on CT Images

We have designed and validated a fully automated quantitative system with which to detect and enumerate levels of thoracic and lumbar vertebral body compression fractures on CT images, determine Genant classification of compression severity and morphology, generate extended Genant scores for fracture lateralization, and measure bone attenuation.
