Fe-Catalyzed Synthesis of Substituted N-Aryl Oxazolidines.

The reaction between allyl alcohols, paraformaldehyde, and aryl hydroxylamines provides 3-aryl-4-propenyl oxazolidines in high yields which may be demethylenated to the corresponding allylamino alcohols in a one-pot manner.
