Evaluating the limiting rates of registration of volt-ampere characteristics of thermionic assemblies

Formulas are obtained for estimating the limiting rates of registration of volt-ampere characteristics for thermionic electricity generating assemblies. They have been checked by means of a dynamic mathematical model of an assembly and a typical experimental assembly; the results indicate quantitative agreement. It is shown that it is possible to reduce the time required to obtain static volt-ampere characteristics on the basis of dynamic characteristics obtained with direct and reverse variation in voltage.
