Optical Fiber Thermometer Based on the Fluorescence Lifetime

A new optical fiber fluorometric thermometer based on the temperature dependence of the fluorescence lifetime of phosphor is described.The phase-locked detection(PLD)system is used to measure fluorescence lifetime.The characteristics of thermmeter are discussed and the experiment results are given.
