Annual evaluation review FY06 : Effectiveness, outcomes, and quality of WBI's learning programs

In support of the Bank's development work, the World Bank Institute's core function is to foster its clients' capacity for generating, disseminating, and using knowledge essential for development success. The importance of developing this knowledge-based capacity for achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is broadly accepted in the development community. This review presents a summary of evaluation findings regarding the effectiveness and outcomes of WBI's learning programs in focus countries, as well as the quality of WBI's learning programs worldwide.
