Hormonal Control of Senescence

1990
Senescence and other developmental processes are often or perhaps always under correlative control [17]. These controls appear to be mediated mainly by hormones as opposed to nutrient fluxes or other influences [6]. Determining the correlative controls is an important first step in understanding the hormonal controls of senescence, and together these will provide “handles” for analyzing the biochemistry of senescence.
