Hétérocyclisations a partir des dérivés des thioamides trifluoropyruviques

2-Aminothioamides as derivatives of trifluoroalanine, and also 2-tertiary hydroxythioamides as derivatives of trifluorolactic acid have recently been prepared. They have made now the synthesis of new five-membered heterocycles possible by reaction with phosgeniminium chloride, with phosgene or with methanesulfonyl chloride: thus trifluoromethyl thiazole, -thiazolone, -benzothiazole and -sultones have been obtained.
