Objectives
Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) improves the survival of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC); however, TACE treatment outcomes of patients with treatment-naive HCC (TN-HCC) and those with recurrent HCC after curative resection (R-HCC) have not yet been compared.
