The Historical Research and Contemporary Development on University Counselors' Work in China

The counselors' working system has gradually improved after more than 50 years of development,and the counselors have become an important force in the university education.After entering the contemporary era,the reform of the university counselors' system once fell into a perplexity of values and a dilemma in practice.However,the professional development of university counselors has become a central issue in the reform of the counselors'system.Therefore,this paper explores the subject with a focus on the historical research on counselors' work and the contemporary development.
