A number of papers have appeared in recent times which have established a mutual depen- dence between the force constants of the molecular vibrational potential function. For instance, in (i, 2) the dependence between the deformation force constants Kxy z and valence force constants Kxy have been considered and a formula was obtained which is in ac- cord with the previously proposed relationship (3):
