The Study of Non Intrusive Pressure Measurement Methods Using Ultrasonic in Pipes

2004
The faults of ultrasonic non intrusive pressure testing methods in existence are: lack of adaptation to different pipe materials and diameters; greater error in low pressure testing; lower accuracy with fluctuation of temperature and flow velocity. Methods to improve these shortages are presented, they are expand direct time measurement; indirect time testing(phase testing); resonance and attenuation. A mathematic model related to temperature and flow velocity is established too. All these works may provide theoretical references for ultrasonic non intrusive pressure testing in pipes.
