CAUDATO-CORTICAL INTERRELATIONS IN BEHAVIORAL ACT
1981
Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the caudato–cortical interrelations in behavioral act. The caudato-frontal system of integration can secure reserve brain abilities while recovering the process of picking out and generalizing the main signs of signal simuli necessary for the realization of different forms of goal-seeking behavior. Cholinergic system of the CN plays an important role in the organization of such inhibitory influences of the CN on the motor cortical region. The results of the experiments described in the chapter show that other mediating systems should not be excluded from the participation in the inhibitory influences of the CN on the motor cortex.
