NAMING MIXED DRINKS: ALCOHOLICS VS SOCIAL DRINKERS

A finding by Sobell, et al. (5) that Gamma alcoholics compared with social drinkers were deficient in a response repertoire for names of types of mixed alcoholic drinks was replicated and extended. Significant differences were recorded between alcoholics and social drinkers regardless of sex, alcoholic sub-type, or stated drink preference.
